This workshop will focus on aspects of the wedding photography industry.
WHERE AND WHEN: Colorado Springs, Colorado. Tuesday April 5th, 2016.
This workshop is a full day of learning by both conversation and hands on experience with a live shootout with two couples during our day.
This workshop is limited to 14 people and a late lunch or early dinner will be provided. Exact locations and schedule TBA.
Things we will cover:
PART ONE
Running a business and reaching out to your ideal client.
Building creative trust with your wedding clients.
Honing into your own style, and why we shoot in the style that we do.
Tools of the Trade, what we shoot with and why.
Branding, pricing, and marketing.
Styled shoots and vendor relationships.
Workflow: import, culling, storage, and the cloud.
PART TWO
Creative Techniques including prisming, freelensing, RGBing, creating double exposures, & the Brenizer Method.
Long exposure portraits and techniques.
Environmental portraiture.
Utilizing your surroundings and what you have access to.
Embracing the light during your session, shooting in direct sunlight, and using different types of artificial lighting.
Posing.
