Telluride Wedding Photographers | Dunton Hot Springs Wedding
We started the beginning of November celebrating with Grant + Liz for their dream winter wedding at Dunton Hot Springs Resort just outside of Telluride in a perfect teeny tiny old mining town called Delores. Photographing weddings in Colorado means that I spend a good *giant* chunk of my time at wedding venues, and Dunton is by far one of my absolute favorites. You rent out the whole town for you and your guests to spend the weekend hiking, relaxing in the many hot springs and just spending quality time in the middle of nowhere, you can actually just sign me up to live at Dunton permanently.
Now, as special of a place as this magical land is, Grant and Elizabeth really just blew our minds with how incredible a.) KIND THEY ARE b.) hilarious and witty they are and c.) how much they really just love the shit out of each other, they are each other most gigantic fans and it was probably my favorite about the whole day getting to hear one talk about the other.
These two choose (the right choice) to have an outdoor ceremony even though it was freezing cold. *no one died, its fine* They had one of their very best friends who’s marriage they really looked up to officiate their wedding and it was incredibly sentimental and really just got me good in the ‘ol heart strings.
I can’t say enough about what a priviledge it is to know these fine humans, to get to know their humans and to play a little part in the story they’ll tell their future family. This was the best. They are the best.

That ceremony shot with the sun cresting?!? pure magic. I have yet to see another dunton springs wedding in the winter – it’s quite stunning.
