Colorado Elopement Photographers | Crested Butte Adventure Elopement
Kristie + Kurt shared in the most magical sunrise ceremony on a secluded alpine lake outside of Crested Butte Colorado last summer. We got started on hair + makeup at 3am and set out on a starry night drive to our spot.
They put the finishing touches on their vows by car dome light and got dressed in the empty parking lot. We walked down to the edge of the water where they had their happy-tear filled first look and committed their lives to each other with mother nature (and me) as the only witnesses. They commandeered a canoe and set out for a sunrise paddle around the lake before we went on an early morning hike on the trail that connects Crested Butte to Aspen. It was the most perfect morning drenched in soft sunlight and wildflowers around every corner.
We ended our time together with vegan carrot cake, a first dance in the great outdoors and big hugs all around.
