Boulder Elopement Photographer | Lost Gulch Elopement | Krysta + Jordan

Last spring, I had the pleasure of photographing friends of one of my favorite 2018 couples (Ben + Christy)! Krysta and Jordan wanted a lowkey but gorgeous intimate ceremony with just their closest friends, we planned over many months to have everything in winter park where they would be staying for a week trip from indiana. Well, the week arrived and in true Colorado “spring” fashion, a massive snow storm came in and we had to come up with a plan b the day before their wedding day. The weather was perfect on the front range, so they drove a couple hours, and all met at my house and got ready to head out to the new ceremony spot in Boulder. We couldn’t have gotten any more lucky with an amazing sunset and perfect conditions for their vows.

The short trek over big rocks out to this spot is a little unnerving for first timers but always more than worth it! We had an incredible time and made the absolute best out of the situation, even though it was all very last minute. This groups was a blast and I’m so glad everything worked out even better than originally planned.
