Sara and Galym contacted me last summer shortly after they got engaged, to photograph their wedding which will be at one of my faaavorite venues in Colorado, The Riverbend in Lyons.
Which is so very conveniently located exactly 7 miles from my house :0) and easily one of the most beautiful venues in the state. If you’ve ever visited the Lyons Farmette, it may come as a surprise that the Riverbend, came from the devastating floods of 2013. Something so beautiful from such a natural disaster.
It really is something to behold.
These two would be spending Labor Day with their families in Portland, Oregon, where Galym’s father attended Louis and Clark College, and asked if I’d like to join them for their engagement session.
My answer was clearly a yes, and this is one of my favorite sessions to date. We spent the entire day (an absolutely perfect weather day) exploring the grounds of the stunning college campus then ventured up to the Oneonta Gorge.
